SIGMA, the SIG for Intensive Game MAking, is a SIG in the ACM here at USU. SIGMA is a more advanced XNA special interest group where we will be making full-fledged games. Rather than meeting once a week, we will meet once a month on a Saturday for eight hours. During the eight hours, we will attempt to make a complete game with the people that participate, using XNA. There is room for people at all levels of expertise with XNA, from beginners to pros. There is room for anyone who wants to attend. If you can't attend the entire event, feel free to attend as much as you have time for.

Since the project will be finished by the end of the eight hours, there won't be additional commitments beyond the scheduled time frame. This experience will be a good hands-on way to apply the things you are learning in your classes, without needing to be graded on it. You will be able to learn more about XNA and game development, and you will get to know some of the students in the department better. It is going to be a lot of fun, and at the end of the day, we are going to have a cool game to show for it!
